About the Position

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will contribute to a funded multi-year research programme focused on understanding how political, ideological, and racial identities influence social interactions and prejudice reduction.

The role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-performing research environment while producing impactful research with real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research as part of a multi-year funded project.
Design and deliver innovative longitudinal and experimental studies.
Perform advanced statistical analyses, including multilevel and longitudinal modelling.
Publish high-quality research in leading international journals.
Contribute to competitive research grant applications.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams.
Support the supervision and mentoring of Honours and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative research culture.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

A strong academic background in Social Psychology or a closely related discipline.
Expertise in quantitative research methods and advanced statistical analysis.
Experience with longitudinal, experimental, or AI-assisted research methodologies.
Strong publication record or demonstrated research potential.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and research skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary research teams.
