About the Research Project
The MAPS project examines how digital platforms are transforming service-sector labour through the perspective of migration. It explores how platformisation has reshaped employment into fragmented forms such as temporary work, multiple job holding, and short-term gig work, while investigating the experiences of migrant workers within platform economies.

About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Undertake a doctoral research project within the MAPS framework.
Conduct independent and collaborative research on platform labour and migration.
Participate in ethnographic fieldwork and qualitative research.
Contribute to project publications and academic dissemination.
Work closely with Dr. Olivia Maury and the wider research team.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
A Master's degree in Social Sciences or a closely related discipline.
Strong academic background relevant to labour, migration, sociology, anthropology, or digital society.
Demonstrated interest in qualitative and ethnographic research.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
