Fellowship Value
The selected scholar will receive:
CAD 70,000 per year

Research Scope
Applications are welcomed from candidates working in any area of political science. The fellow will undertake an independent research programme and participate actively, in person and full-time, in departmental functions and academic events.
The research completed during the fellowship must also be presented through a public forum in Calgary. (University of Calgary Careers V2)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Hold or complete a PhD in Political Science by their selected fellowship start date.
Have earned their PhD fewer than four years before the position’s start date.
Be available to reside at the University of Calgary, except during necessary research travel.
Not simultaneously hold another postdoctoral fellowship or full-time position.

Cover letter of up to two pages
Curriculum vitae
Research project proposal of up to four pages, excluding the bibliography
Statement explaining the proposed project’s fit with the department
Names and contact information of three potential referees
Names of up to three potential faculty mentors from the Department of Political Science
Proof of PhD completion, where applicable
Optional statement of up to one page addressing special circumstances, accessibility, inclusion or Indigenization
Applicants do not need to contact or obtain approval from their proposed faculty mentors before applying. All documents must be combined and submitted as a single PDF file. (Faculty of Arts)
