About the Position

The University of Auckland Business School is seeking an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to the research activities of the Aotearoa Centre for Leadership and Governance. The fellowship is designed to support the development of an outstanding early-career researcher with the potential to establish a successful academic career through high-quality research, teaching, and publications.

The successful candidate will contribute to a growing research pipeline focused on critical leadership scholarship while collaborating with internationally recognized academics across the Business School.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research in leadership, governance, and business-related disciplines.
Publish research in leading peer-reviewed journals.
Contribute to collaborative research projects within the Aotearoa Centre for Leadership and Governance.
Support teaching and student engagement where appropriate.
Participate in academic seminars, workshops, and research initiatives.
Help strengthen the University's international research profile.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

A Ph.D. (completed or nearing completion) in Management, Leadership, Business, Organizational Studies, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated research potential through quality publications or working papers.
Strong analytical, communication, and academic writing skills.
An interest in leadership, governance, and contemporary business research.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary research teams.
