About the Role
The selected researchers will work under the leadership of the CSST co-directors and contribute to the development of projects across the Centre’s research streams.
The role involves collaboration with research fellows, a Policy Fellow, multidisciplinary colleagues and an international network of researchers, particularly scholars based in the Global South. (SOAS Vacancies)

The appointed candidates will be expected to:
Co-develop research projects within one or more CSST research streams
Conduct research on sustainable structural transformation and economic diversification
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team
Collect and analyse quantitative or qualitative evidence
Produce high-quality and high-impact academic publications
Contribute to research dissemination activities
Participate in policy engagement
Collaborate with international research partners
Support research focused on developing countries, particularly in Africa and Southeast Asia (SOAS Vacancies)

Applicants should have strong academic training in a relevant field, which may include:
Economics
Development Studies
Geography
Business
Politics
Engineering
Another closely related discipline
