Research Project

The successful candidate will work on the research project:

"Local to Global Principles for Topological Quantum Field Theory"

The project is funded by the Swedish Research Council and focuses on advancing research in algebraic topology and its applications to topological quantum field theory.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

Conduct independent research in Algebraic Topology
Contribute to the funded research project
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses (up to 20% of the workload)
Supervise degree projects and doctoral students
Participate in three weeks of training in higher education teaching and learning

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

A Ph.D. (or an internationally recognized equivalent degree) in Algebraic Topology
Strong research potential and the ability to conduct high-quality independent research
Good teaching skills
Excellent written and spoken English proficiency
Strong motivation, initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

The Ph.D. must be awarded before the appointment decision is finalized.
