The Department of Water Resources Development and Management (WRD&M), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, invites applications from outstanding and motivated researchers for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) position under the mentorship of Prof. Anshul Yadav.

About the Research Project

Fellowship Details

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

• Research expertise related to:

  • Water treatment technologies

  • Photocatalysis

  • Nanomaterial synthesis and fabrication

  • Functionalization and characterization of advanced materials

• Strong hands-on research experience in relevant areas.

• Minimum of two first-author research publications in SCI-indexed international peer-reviewed journals.

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

Materials Characterization Techniques

• XRD

• SEM

• TEM

• XPS

• FTIR

• AFM

• PL

• TGA

• Other advanced analytical techniques

Membrane Technology

• Membrane-based water treatment systems

• Self-cleaning membrane development

• Antifouling membrane technologies

Research & Academic Skills

• Independent research execution

• Scientific report writing

• Project proposal development

• Ph.D. student mentoring and supervision

Research Expectations

The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will:

• Conduct independent and collaborative research activities.
