Salary & Benefits

Salary: INR 60,000 – INR 85,000 per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Ph.D. in a field directly relevant to:

  • Power Systems

  • Power Markets

  • Power Sector Regulation

  • Public Policy

  • Energy Policy and Regulation

Preferred Background

• Research experience related to regulation and policy in the Indian power sector.

• Strong academic record and publication profile in relevant research areas.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Note: Candidates must have been awarded their Ph.D. degree before joining the position.

Key Responsibilities

The selected fellow will:

• Conduct high-quality research in energy regulation and power sector policy.

• Contribute to CER's research, policy, and capacity-building initiatives.

• Engage with regulatory and policy stakeholders.

• Support knowledge dissemination through publications, reports, and presentations.

• Participate in departmental and centre activities.
