Project Title

Photoinduced Site-Selective Modification of Amino Acids and Peptides

Consolidated Fellowship

• Salary: Up to INR 65,000 per month

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with First Class or equivalent grades in the preceding degree and an excellent academic record throughout.

• Minimum of two refereed publications as the first author or corresponding author in SCI journals of international repute.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Expertise in photocatalysis and/or electro-organic synthesis.

• Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry.

• Relevant research experience in advanced organic synthesis and related areas.

About the Project

The project focuses on the site-selective modification of peptides to improve their physicochemical properties, stability, and biological activity. The research aims to develop novel photochemical and electrochemical methods for the precise modification of peptides and amino acids.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will:

• Conduct research activities related to the proposed project.

• Maintain records of experimental findings in both soft and hard copy formats.

• Document and present research outcomes systematically.

• Contribute to project deliverables, publications, and related research activities.
