Project Title

The Role of Solute Lattice Site Occupancy in γ′ Precipitates in the Design of High-Strength Superalloys

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of:

INR 72,000–INR 84,000 per month

Duration

The initial appointment will be for four months and may be extended based on project requirements and satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification

Applicants should have:

A PhD in Materials Engineering
Candidates who have submitted their doctoral dissertation may also apply
At least 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards
At least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Classes 10 and 12

Age Limit

Applicants should not be more than 35 years old as of the application deadline.

Research Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

Investigate lattice-site occupancy in γ′ precipitates
Contribute to the design of high-strength superalloys
Set up experimental facilities
Manufacture and characterise material samples
Apply advanced materials-processing techniques
Analyse microstructures and material properties
Collaborate with the research team and support project deliverables
