Project Title

Building Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems

Remuneration

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of:

INR 72,000–INR 84,000 per month

Duration

The appointment will initially be for one year and may be extended based on satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should have:

A PhD submitted, defended, or awarded in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Mathematics, or a related discipline
At least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from graduation onwards
At least 55% marks in Classes X and XII

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following areas:

Wireless communications and networks
Digital signal processing
Software-defined radio-based wireless system design
RF and high-frequency circuit design

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

MATLAB, Python, or C++
Microcontrollers and embedded systems
Software-defined radios such as USRPs
RF testing tools, including spectrum analysers and VNAs
RF circuit fabrication and post-design verification
Antenna theory

Job Responsibilities

The selected fellows will contribute to research on next-generation wireless systems, including:

Developing theoretical models and signal-processing methods
Designing real-world hardware and prototypes
Conducting experimental research
Preparing research papers and technical reports
Supporting intellectual-property development
