The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has invited applications for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics. Salary

Monthly Fellowship: INR 72,000 – INR 84,000, as per institute norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

Hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics from a reputed institution in India or abroad.
Have submitted their Ph.D. thesis. Candidates awaiting the award of the degree may also apply.
Possess an excellent academic record with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from Graduation onwards and 55% in Class 10 and 12.
Demonstrate a strong research background in Computative Algebra.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

Knowledge of Computer Algebra Software such as Macaulay, Singular, GAP, and SAGE.
Good communication skills in English.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will:

Contribute to ongoing research projects in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Explore new research directions of mutual interest.
Participate in academic discussions and collaborative research activities within the department.
