Project Title

“Materials for Climate Conscious and Resource Efficient Construction”

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of:

INR72,000 – INR 84,000 per month

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess a:

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering

Candidates who have submitted their doctoral dissertation may also apply. Their application may be considered, with remuneration adjusted accordingly if selected.

Academic qualifications should generally carry a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards, along with the prescribed institute norms.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Strong background in infrastructure materials

• Previous laboratory research experience involving cementitious materials

• Experience in materials characterization and/or concrete durability

• Good understanding of cement chemistry

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with research team members

Research Responsibilities

The project will involve:

• Activation of industrial wastes to improve their reactivity

• Development of cementitious binders

• Research on low-carbon concrete

• Laboratory characterization of construction materials

• Supporting ongoing research projects

• Mentoring M.Tech. students in their research activities
