About the IPDF Program

Eligibility Criteria (Global Applicants Welcome)

International and Indian candidates can apply if they meet the following requirements:

• PhD degree from a recognized institution (Foreign candidates must have obtained their PhD outside India)

• Strong academic background with first-class or equivalent grades

• Demonstrated research potential through publications in reputed journals/conferences

• Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply (must complete defense within 1 year)

Age Limit

• 32 years (Male candidates)

• 35 years (Female candidates)

Fellowship & Benefits

• INR 80,000 per month stipend

• House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Government of India norms (New Delhi)

• INR 1,00,000 annual Professional Development Allowance
