About the Role

The selected candidate will join a leading research team investigating the causes and effects of education from an economic perspective. The research focuses on understanding how education policies and institutions can improve prosperity, equal opportunities, and social outcomes through evidence-based economic analysis.

Researchers will contribute to projects addressing policy-relevant questions related to education systems, educational institutions, and the economics of learning while advancing their own independent research agenda.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

Conduct high-quality research in the field of Economics of Education.
Develop and pursue an independent research agenda.
Publish research in leading academic journals.
Collaborate on policy-relevant research projects.
Supervise and mentor doctoral researchers.
Communicate research findings to policymakers, the public, and the media.
Contribute to the institute's academic and collaborative research activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates should have:

A Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related discipline.
Strong interest in Economics of Education and public policy research.
Excellent quantitative and empirical research skills.
A strong publication record or demonstrated research potential.
Ability to conduct independent research while working collaboratively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
