The Centre for Development Economics (CDE) and the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), Delhi, have invited applications for the CDE-IEG Postdoctoral / Visitor Fellowship in Economics. This fellowship offers an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers to pursue independent research in Economics while engaging with leading economists and researchers at CDE and IEG. Fellowship Highlights

• Position: Postdoctoral / Visitor Fellow in Economics

• Institution: Centre for Development Economics (CDE), Institute of Economic Growth (IEG)

• Location: Delhi, India

• Duration: 6 Months

• Monthly Fellowship: INR 60,000

• Accommodation: Free single accommodation at IEG (subject to availability)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Ph.D. degree in Economics from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. dissertation but are awaiting their viva are also eligible to apply.

• Applicants should not hold a permanent academic position in another institution.

• Preference will be given to candidates having at least one publication in a reputed journal. (Institute of Economic Growth)

Fellowship Responsibilities

Selected fellows will be expected to:

• Participate actively in the academic activities of CDE and IEG.

• Attend seminars, conferences, workshops, and research discussions.

• Conduct independent research under the guidance of faculty mentors.

• Produce at least one seminar paper during the fellowship.

• Contribute to the CDE and IEG Working Paper Series.

• Meet regularly with assigned faculty mentors to discuss research progress. (Institute of Economic Growth)

• Copies of up to three published or unpublished research papers

• Names of three referees

• Ph.D. certificate or proof of dissertation submission (for candidates awaiting viva)
