About the Project

The selected researcher will become part of EASYGEN, an interdisciplinary Horizon Europe project focused on developing innovative point-of-care technology for CAR-T cell therapy. The project aims to improve access to advanced cancer treatment by reducing treatment time, cost, and logistical complexity while ensuring responsible implementation within hospital workflows. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Lead qualitative research to understand user perspectives and healthcare needs.

• Design and facilitate co-creation workshops with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary project partners to integrate qualitative findings into technology implementation.

• Develop qualitative and reflexive research on responsible healthcare innovation.

• Publish research in leading international peer-reviewed journals.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A Ph.D. in:

  • Science and Technology Studies (STS)

  • Innovation Studies

  • Anthropology

  • Sociology

  • Or a closely related social science discipline.

• Strong experience with qualitative research methods, particularly interviews and ethnographic research.

• Experience in participatory and co-creative research approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Research experience in healthcare settings, hospitals, or digital health.

• Experience working in interdisciplinary research teams.

• Interest in responsible innovation and healthcare technology.
