BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus has announced applications for its Fully Funded Ph.D. Programme for 2026. The programme offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring researchers to work on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research projects with comprehensive financial support and world-class research facilities.

Research Areas

Applications are invited for Ph.D. research in the following areas:

  • Digital twin framework for additively manufactured lightweight structures

  • Soft-composite bulletproof vest

  • Functionally graded crash structures for automobiles

  • Composite skins for lightning strike protection and de-icing in aircraft wings

Fellowship & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

  • Monthly Fellowship: AED 4,000

  • Contingency Grant: AED 2,500 per year

  • Subsidized hostel accommodation (boarding and lodging)

  • Student visa and medical insurance for the duration of the fellowship

  • Airfare support (as per institute policy)
