BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus has announced applications for its Fully Funded Ph.D. Programme for 2026. Research Areas

Applications are invited for Ph.D. research in the following areas:

Digital twin framework for additively manufactured lightweight structures
Soft-composite bulletproof vest
Functionally graded crash structures for automobiles
Composite skins for lightning strike protection and de-icing in aircraft wings

Fellowship & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

Monthly Fellowship: AED 4,000
Contingency Grant: AED 2,500 per year
Subsidized hostel accommodation (boarding and lodging)
Student visa and medical insurance for the duration of the fellowship
Airfare support (as per institute policy)
