The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for walk-in interviews for admission to its Ph.D. Program in the Department of Mathematics for the 2nd Semester, Academic Year 2025–26.

Who Can Appear for the Walk-in Interview

Candidates who meet any of the following criteria are eligible to appear for the interview:

• Holders of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) (CSIR/UGC/NBHM or equivalent)
• Candidates with a valid GATE Rank up to 700
• Candidates with a CGPA of 7.5 or above from IITs, IISERs, IISc, or any DAE institute
