IIIT Vadodara Invites Applications for PhD Admissions (Winter 2025–26)

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIITV) — an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India — invites applications from highly motivated candidates for admission to its Ph.D. (Full-Time and Part-Time) programs for the Winter Session 2025–26.

Minimum Qualification for PhD (Full-Time)

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Postgraduate Qualification:
• 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10-point scale or equivalent) in M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Sc./M.C.A./M.A. or equivalent
• Undergraduate Qualification (without Masters):
• 80% marks or 8.0 CPI (on a 10-point scale or equivalent) in B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (4 years) or equivalent
• Interdisciplinary (for Part-Time):
• 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10-point scale or equivalent) in M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Sc./M.B.A./M.A. with relevant knowledge in CSE/IT/ECE/Physics/Mathematics/Humanities/Social Sciences

Additional Qualification for PhD (Part-Time)

In addition to the above, candidates should:

• Be working in a relevant research field, and
• Be a regular or contractual employee of a State/Central Government Department, PSU, Educational Institute, or Research Organization/Industry with an annual turnover of at least ₹2 crores, and
• Have at least one year of relevant experience (or two years post-graduation experience if applicable).
