Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025 – IIT Palakkad

IIT Palakkad invites applications for Institute Postdoctoral Positions in the following disciplines:

• Biological Sciences and Engineering
• Data Science
• Mathematics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Physics

Fellowship Details

• Duration:
• Initially for 2 years, extendable by 1 additional year based on the progress of the fellow.
• Fellowship Amount (per month):
• Candidates with thesis submitted: ₹58,000/-
• PhD + 1 year of post-PhD experience: ₹61,000/-
• PhD + 2 or more years of post-PhD experience: ₹67,000/-
• Research Grant:
• A non-lapsable contingency grant of ₹1,00,000/- per year will be provided to each fellow.

Application Process

• Applicants must identify a faculty mentor at IIT Palakkad with whom they wish to collaborate.
• Applications should be submitted only after obtaining consent from the prospective mentor.
• A consent letter/email must be uploaded along with the application.
