The Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) — offered by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India — is a 6-week hybrid training programme designed to help participants convert their technical expertise into entrepreneurial ventures.

💡 Programme Overview

The TEDP focuses on hands-on training in entrepreneurship, business planning, and technology commercialization. It combines technical skill enhancement with real-world business insights, helping participants transform innovative ideas into sustainable enterprises.

Duration: 29 November 2025 – 09 January 2026

Format: Hybrid (lectures, presentations, case studies, and interactive discussions)

Cost: Completely FREE under the DST initiative

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering, or Technology
• Age between 21 and 45 years
• Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship

🧭 Selection Process

A selective cohort of 25–30 candidates will be shortlisted based on online registration and interviews (if required). Participants will receive expert mentorship, training, and exposure to real-world entrepreneurial ecosystems.
