ServiceSetu Academics is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Rahul Kumar, Assistant Professor of Accounting & Finance at the Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur, as a Scientific Committee Member in the Finance & Accounting domain.

Dr. Rahul Kumar is a distinguished academic with expertise in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Accounting, ESG & Sustainable Finance, Corporate Governance, Market Microstructure, Investments, and Corporate Restructuring. His research has been published in several leading ABDC, Scopus, and Web of Science-indexed journals, including Finance Research Letters, Accounting Research Journal, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Economic Asymmetries, and many others.

An accomplished case writer, Dr. Kumar has authored award-winning teaching cases and technical notes published by Harvard Business Publishing, Ivey Publishing, and Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies, contributing significantly to management education and practice.

His academic achievements have been recognized through several prestigious honours, including the NSE Best Thesis Award in Financial Economics (2024), SEBI–NISM Best Paper Award (2023), ICAI International Research Award (2025), and numerous national and international case writing awards.

In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Kumar has extensive experience conducting Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), Management Development Programmes (MDPs), executive education programmes, research methodology workshops, and consultancy assignments in finance, accounting, capital markets, valuation, financial statement analysis, derivatives, and corporate governance.

As a member of the ServiceSetu Academics Scientific Committee, Dr. Kumar will contribute to strengthening our initiatives in research, academic collaborations, faculty development, conferences, workshops, and knowledge dissemination in the areas of Finance and Accounting.
