Overview of Role

IIM Shillong, on behalf of the State Support Mission, Planning Department, Government of Manipur, invites applications from dynamic professionals to work on high-impact governance and policy projects. Appointed professionals will support sustainable development initiatives, coordinate with NITI Aayog, contribute to the State Vision@2047, and strengthen evidence-based policymaking.

Positions & Eligibility Breakdown

1. Sector Experts (8 Posts) — INR 1,00,000 / month | Age: Below 50 years

• Tenure: 2 months initially (extendable) | Experience: Minimum 8 years relevant experience post highest qualification

• Open Sectors & Qualifications:

  • Economics & Finance (1 Post): Master's in Economics / MBA or PGDM in Finance.

  • Agriculture & Allied Sector (1 Post): Master's in Agriculture / Horticulture with Soil Science / Forestry / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • Infrastructure & Industry (1 Post): Master's in Civil Engineering / Electricity / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • Social Sectors – Education & Health (1 Post): Master's in Social Work / Community Medicine / Public Health Administration / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (1 Post): Master's in Entrepreneurship / MBA in Data Analytics / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • Urban Development & Land Administration (1 Post): M.Tech in Planning or equivalent / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • IT & Data Analysis (1 Post): Master's in IT / Computer Science / Economics / Statistics / MBA or PGDM in the specified sector.

  • Human Resources & Capacity Building (1 Post): Master's / MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.

2. Monitoring & Evaluation and Data Analytics Specialist (1 Post)

• Remuneration: INR 1,00,000 / month

• Age Limit: Below 45 years

• Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Project Management. Training/Certification in M&E tools and IT knowledge is desirable.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, program implementation, and data analysis in a recognized government organization.

3. Monitoring & Evaluation and Data Analytics Assistants (2 Posts)

• Remuneration: INR 50,000 / month

• Age Limit: Below 35 years

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science / English.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E activities and data processing.

Terms & Conditions

• Leave Entitlement: 18 days of annual leave in addition to Manipur State Government-enlisted holidays.

• Work Location: Imphal, Manipur.
