BITS Pilani is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Krishnamurthy Bindumadhavan as Dean (Institute-wide), Career Advancement and Practice School (CAPS).

In this institute-wide leadership role, Prof. Bindumadhavan will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of Career Advancement initiatives and the signature Practice School (PS) programs across all campuses, further strengthening industry-academia integration and experiential learning pipelines.

• Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP): Served as Associate Dean, playing a pivotal role in curriculum design, strategic program expansion, and scaling executive education offerings across diverse industry verticals.

• Educational Innovation & Research: Founded the Centre for Education Research and Innovation (CERI) and the AI Lab for Education Innovation, spearheading initiatives that secured the IMC Gold Award for Excellence in Management Education 2025.

• Academic Citizenship: Over a decade of distinguished service within BITS Pilani driving pedagogical transformation, industry-aligned curricula, and technological modernization in higher education.

Industry & Corporate Background

• Global Financial Services: Over 15 years of international corporate experience in premier banking and risk-analytics organizations.

• Capital One Leadership: Spent 8 years at Capital One, leading credit-risk modeling and analytics initiatives.

• Patents & Inventions: Co-inventor of three (3) United States patents in advanced credit-risk management and predictive decision systems.
