The Department of Electrical Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-funded research project.

  Smart Hydrogen Energy Recovery System Using Metal Hydride Thermochemical Storage for Integrated Heating and Cooling

• Funding Agency:
  Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

  • Energy Engineering

  • Instrumentation Engineering
    (Minimum 60% marks)

OR

• M.E./M.Tech in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Energy Engineering

  • Related allied areas
    (Minimum 60% marks)

• GATE qualification (valid or expired) required

Desired Skills

• Experience with simulation tools:

  • MATLAB / LTSpice / PSCAD

• Knowledge or project experience in:

  • Power electronics

  • Renewable energy systems

  • Grid integration

Salary / Emoluments

• INR 37,000/month (First 2 years)

• INR 42,000/month (3rd year)

Ph.D. Opportunity

• Selected candidates may get an opportunity to register for a Ph.D. program at VNIT Nagpur, subject to eligibility criteria

Duration

• Initial appointment: 1 Year

• Extendable up to 3 Years based on performance
