Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech. in:

    • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

    • Electrical Engineering (EE)

    • Or closely related disciplines

OR

  • M.E./M.Tech. in:

    • Electronics and Communication Engineering

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Related Engineering/Science disciplines from a recognized university or institute

Preference

Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified:

  • GATE

  • NET

However, candidates without GATE/NET qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

Final-Year Candidates

The following candidates are also eligible:

  • Final semester B.E./B.Tech. students awaiting results

  • Final semester M.E./M.Tech. students awaiting results


Required Skills

Applicants should have a strong foundation in:

  • Antenna Theory

  • Transmission Line Theory

  • RF Circuits

  • Electromagnetic Radiation Principles

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with the following software/tools is desirable:

  • CST Microwave Studio (CST MWS)

  • HFSS

  • MATLAB

Additional Advantage

Candidates having experience in:

  • Embedded Antenna Design

  • Antennas for Portable Devices

  • Reconfigurable Antenna Systems

will be given additional preference.


Fellowship / Stipend

Fellowship

First Two Years

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

Third Year

INR 42,000 per month + HRA
