University of Hyderabad Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2026
The University of Hyderabad, through the Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology (CASEST), School of Physics, has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a sponsored research project titled "Development of a Novel NDT Instrument using 3D Asymmetric Giant Magnetoimpedance Sensors for Coal Mines." This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in electronics, instrumentation, materials science, and applied research.

Project Title: Development of a Novel NDT Instrument using 3D Asymmetric Giant Magnetoimpedance Sensors for Coal Mines
Tenure: Six (06) months or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
M.Sc. or M.Tech in Electronics, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.75 (on a 10-point scale).
Relaxation in qualifications will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
Desirable Qualification
Experience or knowledge in Analog and Digital Electronics Circuit Design.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.
Important Information
The appointment is purely temporary and does not guarantee future regular employment at the University.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test, skill test, or interview.
Candidates should submit self-attested copies of all relevant certificates along with their application and CV.
