TU Dresden Research Associate/Postdoctoral Position in International Politics
The Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden), Germany, invites applications for a temporary Research Associate/Postdoctoral Researcher position at the Chair of Political Science with a focus on International Politics.
The position is based within the Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and provides an opportunity to strengthen an independent academic profile in research and teaching.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
Contribute to the research and teaching activities of the Chair of Political Science with a focus on International Politics.
Independently teach courses in International Relations and International Politics.
Participate in interdisciplinary teaching with colleagues from International Law and International Economics.
Teach approximately four academic hours or two courses per semester.
Contribute primarily to the BA and MA programmes in International Relations offered by the Center for International Studies.
Supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses.
Participate in departmental and faculty committees.
Undertake academic administrative and representative responsibilities.
Develop an independent profile in research and teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
An excellent master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Political Science or a related Social Science discipline.
An excellent PhD in Political Science, International Relations or a related field.
Strong expertise in International Relations and international organisations.
Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both English and German.
The ability to contribute effectively to teaching, research and academic administration.
