The Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, has invited applications for Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator positions under an ICSSR-funded research project. These contractual positions offer an excellent opportunity for researchers and social science professionals to contribute to an important longitudinal study on the Siddi Tribe in Gujarat.

Project Title

A Longitudinal Study on the Demographic, Socio-Economic, Health, Cultural and Governance Dynamics of the Siddi Tribe in Gujarat

Available Positions

• Research Associate – 01 Post

• Research Assistant – 01 Post

• Field Investigator – 04 Posts

Eligibility

Research Associate

• Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks

• NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

• Minimum 2 years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project

Research Assistant

• Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks

• NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. preferred

Field Investigator

• Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks

Essential Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati

• Working knowledge of MS Office/Excel

• Good communication and documentation skills

Fellowship

• Research Associate: INR 47,000 per month for 46 months

• Research Assistant: INR 37,000 per month for 38 months

• Field Investigator: INR 20,000 per month for 38 months
