Project Background

  • A Supreme Court-mandated initiative

  • Focuses on monitoring implementation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016

  • Conducted across care institutions for persons with cognitive disabilities

Eligibility Criteria

Research Associate

  • Master’s degree in:

    • Law

    • Social Sciences

    • Data Science or related disciplines

  • Minimum 55% marks

  • At least 2 years of experience in:

    • Data collection

    • Research and analysis


Field Investigators

  • Master’s degree in:

    • Law

    • Social Sciences

    • Humanities

    • Management

  • Minimum 55% marks


Roles & Responsibilities

🔹 Research Associate

  • Lead data analysis and interpretation

  • Coordinate research activities

  • Prepare reports and documentation

  • Support overall project execution

🔹 Field Investigators

  • Conduct field visits and surveys

  • Collect and document data from institutions

  • Assist in on-ground monitoring activities

  • Support research team with field insights


Key Skills Required

  • Understanding of disability rights and policy frameworks

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Ability to conduct field-based assessments

  • Good communication and documentation skills
