About the Centre
The JSW Centre for the Future of Law was established in 2024 with support from the JSW Foundation. The Centre focuses on advancing interdisciplinary research and policy discussions in areas such as:
Law and Artificial Intelligence
Technology Regulation
Health and Regulation
Climate and Environmental Law
Corporate Governance
Legal System Reform
Public Policy and Emerging Technologies

Key Responsibilities
The selected Research Associate will:
Coordinate the Centre's research programmes and collaborations.
Prepare concept notes, research proposals, and grant applications.
Manage fellowship and student internship programmes.
Organize workshops, annual lectures, stakeholder consultations, and research events.
Develop research publications, policy briefs, case briefs, blog articles, and opinion pieces.
Work closely with the Faculty Director, Advisory Board, and Dean (Research).
Submit at least one peer-reviewed journal article annually or publish short-form research outputs.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must have:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.).
Minimum three years of post-qualification experience in research-related roles.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Master's degree in any discipline.
Expertise in one or more of the Centre's thematic research areas.
Strong understanding of technology and its legal or policy implications.
Proven research experience with at least one publication or equivalent output.
Excellent academic, policy, and public writing skills.
Strong analytical, communication, research synthesis, and project management abilities.
Salary
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per NLSIU norms. (National Law School of India University)
