About the WILL Initiative

The Women's Inclusion and Leadership in Law (WILL) Initiative is housed within the Centre for the Study of the Legal Profession at NLSIU. The initiative aims to strengthen women's participation and leadership in litigation through evidence-based research, inclusive workplace interventions, professional development programmes, and networking opportunities for women legal professionals across India.

Role Overview

The selected Senior Research Associates will work closely with the Project Director and faculty leadership to support the implementation of the WILL Initiative through high-quality research and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

• Conduct research on legal institutions, gender, and the legal profession.

• Contribute to research projects, reports, policy documents, and publications.

• Support programme implementation and evidence-based interventions.

• Assist in organising workshops, consultations, and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Collaborate with researchers, legal professionals, and institutional partners.

• Contribute to initiatives promoting gender-equitable and inclusive legal systems.
