The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, is inviting applications for one (01) full-time Research Associate position at the JSW Centre for the Future of Law. This is a university campus-based role on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year (extendable).

About the JSW Centre for the Future of Law
Established in 2024 at NLSIU with the support of the JSW Foundation, the Centre’s mission is to expand academic learning, advance rigorous research, and inform policy debates on critical issues intersecting law, technology, and system reform.
The Centre drives interdisciplinary research across several key domains:
The interface between health and regulation
Environment and the law
Corporate governance
The impact of new technologies on the future of the legal system, the legal profession, and legal education
The Centre formally commenced its research operations during the Academic Year 2025–2026.
About the Role & Responsibilities
The selected Research Associate will base their core operations out of the University campus and work under the direct guidance of leadership to incubate foundational research. Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Faculty Director, the Centre’s Advisory Board, and the Dean (Research) at NLS.
Actively developing and supporting the incubation of the Centre's core research activities.
Collaborating across partnerships with academia, governments, regulators, civil society, and industry stakeholders.
