Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment under DST-SERB Research Project (2nd Call)

National Institute of Technology Warangal has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DST-SERB Core Research Grant (CRG) funded research project in the field of Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must satisfy any one of the following qualification criteria:

Option 1

• B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent degree in:

  • Metallurgical & Materials Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

• AND M.Tech./M.E. in:

  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

  • Related fields

• Minimum:

  • 60% aggregate marks OR 6.5 CGPA (GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS)

  • 55% marks OR 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD)

Option 2

• B.Tech./B.E. in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum:

  • CGPA 8.0/10 or 75% marks (GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL)

  • CGPA 7.5/10 or 70% marks (SC/ST/PwD)

Option 3

• M.Sc. in:

  • Physics

  • Materials Science

  • Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

• AND M.Tech. in:

  • Materials Science

  • Metallurgy

  • Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

  • Ceramic Engineering

  • Surface Engineering

• Minimum:

  • 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL)

  • 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD)

Additional Requirement

Candidates under M.Sc. category must have qualified any of the following:

• GATE

• UGC-NET

• CSIR-NET

• INSPIRE-NET

Age Limit

(Age relaxation may be applicable as per Government norms.)

• Interview performance
