Project Title

Development of an Integrated Multi-Scale Computational Platform for Modelling Laser Additive Manufacturing Processes: Part 2 – Influence of Additive Manufacturing (LPBF Method) Parameters on Microstructural Development in Al Alloys

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess qualifications in one of the following combinations:

• B.Tech./B.E. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline, along with M.Tech./M.E. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or a related field.

• B.Tech./B.E. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline with the prescribed academic performance.

• B.Tech. in Ceramic Engineering or M.Sc. in Materials Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, along with M.Tech. in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Ceramic Engineering, Surface Engineering or a relevant field.

Applicants must meet the category-wise minimum marks or CGPA requirements specified in the official notification.

GATE qualification is not mandatory.
