Project Title

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech in:

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Production Engineering

    • Manufacturing Engineering

    • Aerospace Engineering

AND

  • M.E./M.Tech in:

    • Manufacturing Engineering

    • Computer Integrated Manufacturing

    • Materials Science

    • Or any other relevant discipline


Desired Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  • Prior experience in welding research.

  • Knowledge of aluminium alloy metallurgy.

  • Experience in residual stress measurement techniques.

  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing and materials characterization.


Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on:

  • Execution of research objectives under the ISRO-RESPOND project.

  • Residual stress measurement and mitigation studies.

  • Microstructural characterization of friction stir welded joints.

  • Mechanical property evaluation and analysis.

  • Research documentation and publication activities.


Age Limit

  • Maximum 30 years.

  • Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India/NIT Warangal norms.
