National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) sponsored research project in the area of High Voltage Engineering and Electrical Insulation Materials. Design and Development of Enhanced Flame Retardant Silicone Rubber Insulation Reinforced with Cost Effective Rare Earth Fillers for Outdoor High Voltage Applications

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• M.E./M.Tech./Equivalent Degree in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering/Technology

  • Or a related discipline in Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualification

Candidates selected through:

• CSIR-UGC NET including Assistant Professorship, or

• GATE qualification

will be preferred.

Age Limit

• As per DST/ANRF/NIT Warangal norms.

Age Relaxation

• Applicable as per DST/ANRF/NIT Warangal rules.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Execute the objectives of the ANRF-sponsored research project.

• Conduct research in high-voltage insulation materials and flame-retardant silicone rubber composites.

• Collaborate with scientists and researchers in the domain of High Voltage Engineering.

• Contribute to research publications and project deliverables.
