The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-funded research project in the field of climate science and water resources engineering.

Position Overview

Project Details

Fellowship / Salary

• INR 37,000 per month (First 2 Years)

• INR 42,000 per month (3rd Year, based on performance)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in:

  • Civil Engineering

  • Agricultural Engineering (with First Class)

AND

• M.E./M.Tech in:

  • Water Resources Engineering

  • Allied specializations (with First Class)

Desirable Qualifications

• GATE qualification

• Knowledge/experience in:

  • Hydrological modelling

  • Programming (R / Python / MATLAB)

  • Analytical and technical writing skills

Age Limit

• Maximum 30 years

• Age relaxation applicable as per institute norms
