Candidates must possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech with First Class in Mechanical Engineering

OR

  • M.E./M.Tech with First Class in:

    • Manufacturing Engineering

    • Design

    • Thermal Engineering

    • Industrial Safety Engineering

Additional Requirement

Candidates should qualify through any one of the following:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship)

  • GATE

  • National-level examinations conducted by:

    • DST

    • DBT

    • DAE

    • DOS

    • DRDO

    • MoE

    • ICAR

    • ICMR

    • IITs

    • IISc

    • IISER

    • NISER, etc.


Project Associate – II

Educational Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech with First Class in Mechanical Engineering

OR

  • M.E./M.Tech with First Class in:

    • Manufacturing Engineering

    • Design

    • Thermal Engineering

    • Industrial Safety Engineering

from AICTE/MoE recognized institutes/universities.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:

    • Research & Development

    • Academic Institutions


Salary / Fellowship

Position

Emoluments

JRF (GATE/NET Qualified)

INR 37,000 + HRA

Project Associate – II (Non-GATE Candidates)

INR 33,000 + HRA

HRA will be provided as per institute norms.


Project Duration

  • Total duration: 3 Years

  • Initial appointment: 1 Year

  • Extendable based on performance until project completion

Project Associate – II

50 Years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.


Roles & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will work on:

  • Sustainable welding electrode development

  • Materials and manufacturing research

  • Experimental analysis and testing

  • Project-related technical activities
