National Institute of Technology Sikkim has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SMDP-C2S Project funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branches of Engineering/Technology (ECE)

• Minimum:

  • 60% marks OR

  • CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale

Relaxation for Reserved Categories

For SC/ST/PwD candidates:

• Relaxation of:

  • 5% marks OR

  • 0.5 CGPA

Minimum requirement after relaxation:

• 55% marks OR

• 6.0 CGPA

Additional Information

• Selected JRF candidates may be eligible to enroll in the Ph.D. program at NIT Sikkim, subject to institute norms and eligibility conditions.
