The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Civil Engineering under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded Advanced Research Grant (ARG) project. The project focuses on real-time measurement of biogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and their role in secondary organic aerosol formation in the Western Ghats.

Project Title

Real Time Measurement of Biogenic VOCs Using PTR-TOF-MS and their Role in Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation at a High-Altitude Site in the Western Ghats – Southern India

Project Duration

• Project Duration: 3 Years

• Initial Appointment: 1 Year (extendable till the completion of the project based on performance)

Area of Specialization

Fellowship

• INR 37,000 per month + HRA (as per ANRF norms)
