• Extrusion processing

• Paddy parboiling

• Milling & ageing of rice

• Food processing innovation

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities aligned with project goals

• Work on extrusion and rice processing technologies

• Assist in design, experimentation, and data analysis

• Collaborate with PI/Co-PI for technical advancements

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

• M.Tech in:

  • Food Process Engineering

  • Food Engineering

  • Food Technology

  • Food Engineering & Technology

• Minimum:

  • 6.5 CGPA / 60% marks

• Selection through:

  • CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / National Level Exams

  • OR Central Govt agency selection (DST, DBT, ICAR, etc.)

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with:

  • Twin-screw extruders

  • Rice milling & parboiling equipment

• Knowledge of:

  • Machine Design

  • CAD Software

  • AI/ML-based modeling

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Salary / Fellowship

Duration

• Initial: ~10 months

• Extendable based on:

  • Performance

  • Project continuation
