The Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (MoWR, RD&GR) sponsored research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in water resources, environmental engineering, GIS, and geotechnical research.

Project Title:

"Investigating the Linkages Among Land Subsidence, Hydrological, Anthropogenic, and Other Contributing Factors in Joshimath."

Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (MoWR, RD&GR)

Fellowship

• INR 37,000 per month + HRA (as per project norms)

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• M.Tech in any of the following or equivalent disciplines:

  • Water Resources Engineering & Management

  • Environmental Engineering

  • Geology

  • Geomatics

  • Remote Sensing & GIS

Age Limit

• As per Government of India norms.

• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates will be applicable as per Government rules.

• The institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on eligibility and screening criteria.
