Project Title

Studies of Condition Assessment and Management Plan for Mahanadi River Basin

Fellowship

INR 37,000 per month plus HRA, as applicable.

Candidates without GATE, NET, or another recognised national-level qualification may be considered for the position of Project Associate-I with a fellowship of INR 30,000 per month, subject to eligibility and project norms.

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess a relevant degree in one of the following or related disciplines:

• Civil Engineering

• Geology or Applied Geology

• Earth Science

• Environmental Science

• Remote Sensing

• Geography

Candidates should have at least 65% marks or a CGPA of 7.0, along with a valid GATE, NET, or equivalent national-level qualification for the JRF position.

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Knowledge of geology and river management

• Experience in remote sensing

• A valid GATE qualification

• Data-analysis and technical-report-writing skills

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will contribute to:

• Collection and compilation of geological, geochemical, and natural-hazard data

• Research related to the Mahanadi River Basin

• Data interpretation and analysis

• Preparation of technical reports and research manuscripts

• Project activities under the Centre for Mahanadi River Basin Management Studies
