The Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-sponsored research project.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview for this research opportunity in the field of biomedical engineering and point-of-care diagnostic technologies.

Position Overview

Project Title

Smart Digital Microfluidics-Integrated Extended Gate Field Effect Transistor (EGEFT) Biosensor for Rapid Point-of-Care (POC) Detection of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Based on Urinary NGAL in Rural Areas of Chhattisgarh.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in:

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Electronics Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Equivalent branches

with

• Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in both UG and PG

OR

• B.E./B.Tech. from any NIT with:

  • Minimum 75% marks or

  • 8.0 CGPA (out of 10)

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• GATE/NET qualification including Lectureship

• Experience in national-level examinations conducted by agencies such as:

  • ICMR

  • IITs

  • IISc

  • DST

• Knowledge of:

  • COMSOL Multiphysics

  • MATLAB

  • LabVIEW

  • SOLIDWORKS

  • Origin data analysis software

• Prior experience in handling clinical samples

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 Years

• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms
