Project Title:
Investigation of Asphalt Binder Characteristics through Multiple Ageing-Rejuvenation Phases under Accelerated Ageing Conditions Simulating Jharkhand's Climatic Environment

Job Description

The selected candidate will work on:

• Investigating multiple ageing-rejuvenation phases of asphalt binders under accelerated ageing conditions.

• Simulating the climatic conditions of Jharkhand to study pavement material performance.

• Preparing research manuscripts, patents, and technical reports.

Essential Qualification

• B.Tech and M.Tech, or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent disciplines.

• Minimum 6.5 CGPA out of 10 or 60% marks.

Desirable Qualifications

• Candidates with GATE qualification will be preferred.

• Basic understanding of:

  • Rheology of binders

  • Reclaimed asphalt pavement materials

  • Accelerated ageing conditions

• Good writing and communication skills.

Fellowship

• INR 37,000 per month + HRA for the first and second year, as per DST-ANRF norms.

Additional Benefits

• The selected JRF may be considered for Ph.D. registration at NIT Jamshedpur, subject to fulfilling the institute's eligibility criteria.
