Project Title

Design and Development of FPGA Accelerator IP for Deep Neural Network (FaipDNet) under the Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme

Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• INR 37,000 per month + HRA (as per institute norms)

Project Associate

• INR 25,000 per month + HRA (as per institute norms)

Essential Qualifications

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applicants should possess:

• M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or B.E./B.Tech. in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering

  • Instrumentation Engineering

  • Computer Engineering

  • Or a relevant specialization

• Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale).

• For SC/ST candidates: Minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

• Valid GATE qualification obtained at any point in time.

Project Associate

Applicants should possess:

• M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or B.E./B.Tech. in the above-mentioned relevant disciplines.

• Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale).

• For SC/ST candidates: Minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

Research Area

The selected candidate will contribute to the development of:

• FPGA-based hardware accelerators for Deep Neural Networks (DNNs).

• High-performance AI hardware solutions under India's Chips to Startup (C2S) initiative.

• Embedded systems and next-generation semiconductor technologies.
