Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess either of the following:
Option 1
Doctoral Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, MD, or equivalent in relevant disciplines from a recognized university.
Minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10).
Up to 4 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D) in industrial and academic institutions.
OR
Option 2
Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences; OR
Master's Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences; OR
Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university.
Minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10).
6–8 years of relevant experience in research and development activities.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
Consistently strong academic credentials and relevant subject knowledge.
Prior experience in similar research projects.
More than one year of experience in the GPI Project.
Award of Ph.D. before the interview date.
Qualification in GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET.
About the Project
The project aims to conduct the annual inspection of Grossly Polluting Industries (GPIs) situated in the main stem states of the River Ganga and River Yamuna, contributing to environmental protection and pollution control initiatives undertaken by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview and contribute to a nationally significant environmental monitoring project at NIT Delhi.
