Essential Qualification

Option 1:

• M.E./M.Tech in:

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Chemical Technology

  • Biotechnology

  • Nanotechnology

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Biochemistry

  • Environmental Engineering

  • Bioprocess Engineering

  • Microbiology

  • or allied disciplines

• Minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks

OR

Option 2:

• M.Sc. in:

  • Biotechnology / Chemistry / Environmental Science / Microbiology

• Valid NET/GATE qualification

• Minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biofuel synthesis / renewable energy technologies

• Prior research publications

• NET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred

• Selected candidate must register for Ph.D. under this project

• Final-year M.Tech/M.Sc. students (2026 batch) may apply

Salary / Fellowship

• HRA applicable as per DST/Institute norms

• Accommodation may be provided (HRA may not apply if accommodation is given)

Duration

• Total Duration: 3 Years

• Continuation based on performance and funding availability
